2010-2015: Paintings
The figure has been central to my artistic journey, evolving as the core of my creative exploration. My engagement with abstract figures began around 2010, initially through representational work, painting, and crafting clay and metal figures. Over time, focused observation revealed deeper aspects of people that transcend physical appearance. The figure became deconstructed forms—it emerged as a vessel with abstract meaning, influenced by gestures, expressions, and postures conveying emotions, narratives, and the complexities of human experience.
